SpinNook
Gold SpinNook wheel with four colored pawns on a dark table

Local party game

SpinNook is a wheel board game for 2–4 players

Spin the wheel, move around a 36-space ring, and spend the coins as points. It is a party game for people sharing one phone or tablet.

Pass one device around the table. Coins are points, not money.

Why a shared wheel is fun

Short turns

Each spin is only 1 to 6 spaces, so the device keeps moving around the table.

The tile talks back

Rewards, penalties, choices, shields, and events change what a landing means.

Nobody is waiting online

There is no lobby, no chat, and no account. You play with the people already in the room.

How a turn works

A normal turn is one spin, a walk around the ring, then whatever the space demands.

Spin the wheel

The wheel stops on a whole number from 1 to 6. That number is the move. An extra spin, when a tile grants one, can happen only once in the turn.

Spin the wheel

Walk the tiles

The pawn moves clockwise. The board is a 36-space ring. Passing the start pays the start bonus. Walking backward does not.

Walk the tiles

Take a choice

Some spaces offer a payment or a gain. An option that costs more than you hold is closed. Paying your last coin removes you and skips the move that would have followed.

Take a choice

Use a shield

A shield blocks one coin penalty, then it is gone. It does not block a payment you chose, a move, or a skipped turn. A player can hold up to three.

Use a shield

Leave at zero

Coins at zero remove that player for the rest of the match. There is no way back in. The match also ends when fewer than two people still have coins, or when the clock runs out and the table chooses to stop.

Leave at zero

Two, three, or four at one screen

SpinNook is built for a small party, not a server full of strangers.

2 players

A tighter match. Penalties stay at the full shipped rate, so a bad landing hurts more.

3 players

One extra rival. The penalty rate steps down, and the pawn order still goes clockwise.

4 players

A full table. More people pass the start, and elimination is less common than in a duel.

Questions

How many people can play?

Two, three, or four people take turns on one device.

Is SpinNook an online party game?

No. There is no online multiplayer, no matchmaking, and no chat. Everyone is at the same screen.

Are the coins money?

No. Coins are points inside the match. There are no bets, cash-outs, or real-world prizes.

What does the wheel do?

It picks a whole number from 1 to 6. The pawn moves that many spaces clockwise, then the tile resolves.

How long is a session?

Thirty minutes of active play. Pause stops the clock. When time runs out you can end or add another thirty minutes.
